From post about simctl learned a way to open with command line an URL with schemes associated with an app xcrun simctl openurl booted maps://?s=Apple+Park. Command to add photo to photo library might be very useful xcrun simctl addmedia booted ~/Desktop/mindblown.gif. Good to know same could be done with dragging photo from e.g. desktop and dropping to photo app in simulator.
